As a big Fantasy Reader, seeing a wolf as a character is nothing new. I've even got one as a secondary character in my WIP, He's an old ranger known as seann mhadadh-allaidh, the old Wolf. His background is lost in the dim of time and the best he can reckon is that he's 1500 years old. He's one of the madadh-allaidh - fir (Wolf-Men) of old.

This is why I describe 365 Infantry as speculative fiction. It is a broad form of fantasist storytelling that can encompass the anthro angle.

And not gonna lie, looking forward to learning more about this ranger. I like the mystery about him.

The wolf is an inspired choice. Fierce yet beautiful, they embody the majesty of nature.

Also, as for a wolf in a cool coat kicking ass, you *will* have seen on if you play Super Smash Bros. Brawl or Ultimate. And if you’re familiar with Starfox at all, Corneria is apparently dominated by sapient dogs.

I will say that if 365 Infantry was a comic, it would likely get a lot of furry fans.

That's why we're working a short one-shot; I love the comic medium and 365 has been tailor-made to fit into it like a hand in a glove. The original plan was to run "The Urban Avenger" as a comic until I realized how much it would cost, even on a quarterly basis.

And yes indeed, "Star Fox" had been on our radar before the series' conception. Not a big influence, but certainly a popular example of anthro in sci-fi.

It’s great what you’re doing here, that’s for sure. Looks like 365 Infantry has the makings of a great IP.
