Very deliberate tweak of the tagline there, for this shall be exceptionally brief.
The long-and-short of it is that we’re still working to get Kickstarter prelaunch up and ready for use, and work commences on Issue 10 this week! We’re getting designs on art lined up, and spearheading the writing process.
To be dead-ass straight with you all: had no idea setting this thing up would be such a behemoth. I’m glad I took those first two years without the madness of a crowd-funding campaign, because I would’ve choked on getting Issue 1 out the damn door. That said, the pain’s worth it as we’ll be lining up our growing library and a rogues gallery of bonuses to help you help us get 2025 off to the races.
We also have a few side hustles we’re going to start super-preliminary work on, seeing what’s feasible at the moment given all the plates in the air already. I won’t tease anything just yet, beyond the mixed-media project previously mentioned on the page for “While Haven Sleeps”
And just to sew another seed here, I’ve been cooking up various video ideas concerning the series. Not just our crash-course video for newcomers, but something that conveys the essence of the series. What 365 Infantry feels like, if you will. Bit of a weird, ephemeral pitch to be making, but given how much of this series is founded on a bizarre cocktail of aesthetics and influences, I think you guys will dig it, and I think it will let everyone know what we’re all about here. Videos will also be an important part of the campaign for The Ride for 2025, so be on the lookout for those as well.
Trying my best not to burn-out before we’ve even begun, but I’m not gonna lie, juggling the various commissions work I have has left very little room to rest and relax, and to take proper time away from the series. Going to try and fill up on inspiration before we get into the weeds of the writing process, and will hopefully have a few neat tricks up the sleeve after this cultivation.
