OVERVIEW
Well I say “Overview” in the sense that it will be just that this week. Just the meat-and-potatoes of where 365 Infantry is at. That and a special announcement about my own involvement in a previously spotlighted project.
As for Issue 9 and all the excitement that goes with:
Beta-reading and editing is occurring simultaneously on all five stories
Editing and scoring of Alan Firedale is in full swing
Art is still being plugged away on
The bonus article for the 365 Infantry Quarterly is being penned
I’m gonna save the big teasing surrounding what the contents of our Summer 2024 installment are, mainly because I want to put a bit more presentation into the proceedings than usual, and that means waiting on a few elements and items. Stay tuned on that front.
Otherwise, that’s pretty much it! That, and of course, we’ve got ourselves the 100th Story releasing THIS FRIDAY, May 31st alongside the official release of our second Alan Firedale soundtrack album. If you want to get the all the music and bonus tracks (not to mention the bonus Alan Firedale adventure!) for the low-price of $3 USD, ORDER NOW! We’ll mark it up to our $5 standard on release day.
Now for that special bit of news that I wasn’t expecting to happen so soon. Long-time readers maybe familiar with Friend of the Force James Baxter and his spy-fi sendup to swinging 60s action X-06 FUTURESPY, and it’s recent relaunch.
Well, the new episode “Curveball” is now available and I can happily say not only is an entertaining little crime caper involving diamonds and double-crossers, featuring wonderful turns from Baxter, Maisie Granger, Ben Wolf Page of and Lunabelle767, but that yours truly had the honor and privilege of playing multiples on the show. The brutish gangster “Carlos,” a hotel concierge, and the hotel robots. Not only was it fun playing off this wonderful cast of characters, but Baxter has once more honed his skills to deliver a decidedly Saint-like spin on his spy-fi audio drama formula.
I’ll leave it there for now, and leave you all with our latest Quick Byte that helped pick up the slack and ensure that our 100th adventure is in fact our 100th. A fun little tableau of redneck child-rearing from the Garret family, providing a glimpse into the youth of one Harrison Garret, a childhood that would help mold him into the hard-rocking Hell Patrolman we all know and love. May God Bless You and This Force. Be Seeing You!
