Overview
We’re gonna keep things nice and lean this week. Just the meat and potatoes. Nothing fancy, no themes, no curation. Let’s roll.
Updates
KO-FI FUNDRAISER - We are off to the races with a gracious donation of $100 USD from General Weefy. Hats off to him for bringing us up to 11% in our goal of $900 USD to cover all art for the rest of the year.
POLL RESULTS - Our snap poll we fired up on Monday has wrapped and it’s looking like we’re leaning towards Week-Long Rollouts. Having tallied votes all three polls (Twitter, Straw Poll, & Our Email-Based Poll), 63% went Week-Long, and 37% went One-Day. I’ve also been chatting with some people in the background as well, and will take all of this feedback into account before making a final decision. Massive shoutout to everyone who voted.
WRITING - Everything is slowly, but surely, on the march. All 5 stories in the main magazine and all major paid exclusives. Kevin began work on the art for our forthcoming short comic “The Avenger’s Creed” on Wednesday and we will announce an official release date when we are ready.
MERCH - All new merch designs are live on Teepublic and Redbubble! These include “On The Hunt” and “Alan & Goldie” as introduced last week, as well as our third based on freedom-fighter Lita and her prized Bug, The Red Devil, in a sweet piece of psychedelia we like to call “Tripping with the Avenger”
Also available are two motivational designs, “Always on Target” featuring Lieutenant Gibson and General Adam Knox.
NOTE: These designs might not be available on Redbubble immediately, but can be found on Teepublic.
Don’t forget, Teepublic always launches new designs at a discount, so get in on the deals while they last!
MAKE MINE METAL - I was coy about the collab with JVP Music last time, but I’m going to be totally upfront: John and I have just cut a killer metallic tune together, the official theme for 365 Infantry! Its an old-school instrumental called “Wolves of Steel,” hip-deep in Black Sabbath and Deep Purple worship. We’ll announce the release date once the track is near completion. Basic tracking is all done, now its on to mixing and overdubs.

The Byte of the Week
This week’s story, our first of our paid exclusives for the month, was inspired by a conversation I had with conceptual consultant Theo Schaefer about the minutiae of day-to-day life in the world of Haven and the Wastelands. Who does those little jobs in a world either automated or decentralized beyond large-scale organization. This story answers one of those questions: who paves the roads?
“We Are The Road Crew” aims to address that question by checking in on two unfortunate drivers and the lone foreman of highway work in the Wastelands. It’s a short look at a seemingly unending job, but a fun little blue-collar aside I enjoyed writing, and I hope you enjoy reading.
May God Bless You and this Force! See you next week!
