And here we are. Our first full year, and boy are we here to stay for the long haul. Mark my words and those of many others, the year of the Iron Age is upon us!
I wanted to give a blanket update on where the series sits. We’re hard at work on making the new quarter and year turn around. We’re plotting out storylines well in advance of issues on top of devising on-going exclusives for paid subscribers. I hope to tell more distinct and direct stories over the coming year. The War promises to get heavier and wilder, The Hunt shall truly commence, and the fun won’t stop anytime soon for The Urban Avenger and The Speedfreak Files. All that plus paid exclusives like Alan Firedale and our forthcoming serials, one-offs, and so much more. It will be an INCREDIBLE year, I guarantee you.
Red Light Bytes as a flash series will not be in operation this quarter as I am working on developing a better work flow with both this series, and my many other endeavors. Which you can learn about in this expansive video on my video review and doc channel Quality Candor
Expect a return to it sometime in the spring however, as it was incredibly gratifying to explore the world in bite-sized chunks.
But now for the big ticket items:
The 2022 Collection
By the end of January (at the very latest, Tuesday the 31st), you will be able to bring home the electric excitement on genuine paper as we compile and edit all 24 stories from the last year, alongside an exclusive backdoor pilot for a thrilling new spy serial starring recon agent Roger Steele.
The 2022 Annual Collection is something I consider of paramount importance. Not only is it means of bringing the series to physical media, but it is a second chance to edit and adjust everything from the past year. There’s no high-octane George Lucasing to be had here, aside from previously announced work being done on “Children of the Neon Goddess” but there will be edits made to all, and the end product should be the definitive versions of the stories. You won’t want to miss it and it would be the greatest way to show your appreciation for all of the hard work we do to entertain our wonderful audience, as well as ensure the magazine’s freemium status.

Merch stores like Redbubble are great stepping stones into making this a reality.
General of the Armies Briefings
I am going to post the first of the General of the Armies behind-the-scenes briefings as articles on the paid subscription feature, as a way of showing the level of depth subscribers will be treated to in discussing the project. After more paid subs roll in, I’ll make the move to email-exclusive briefings. Our first one will be dealing in the Roman theming and imagery adopted by the series, as it goes a cut deeper than most would expect.
REMINDER: These briefings are meant for the $100/Year tier. If you have the utmost faith in our work and wish to learn more about it, that’s the tier to beat.
Conclusion
Other than all of that, we’re gonna keep chugging along, and making this world a little more metal than how we found it. Hope you can join in.
May God bless you and this Force. Stay tuned!
