Happy Labor Day to you all! Hope everyone is taking a load off and enjoying themselves. I’ve been busy hammering away on the typewriter, and should have the last of our 10th issue off to our beta-readers by the end of today. Also sent the latest round of feedback to lead artist Kevin John Jacob.
Technically difficulties aside, had a lovely chat last night with friend and ANVIL head honcho Richard over at IronAge.Media talking about 365 Infantry and our Ride for 2025 campaign, and it was during that chat we went over a few items.
THE CAMPAIGN ENDS WEDNESDAY! — If you want to stake your claim in a year’s worth of high-octane pulp excitement, NOW’S THE TIME! We got three days to raise $4K! Yes that’s a lot, but I got faith in you guys. Those who have backed so far have shown an incredible level of generosity I am simply blown away by. You guys are the best!
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON’T FUND — I get it. Money’s tight, everyone and their grandmother is crowdfunding, and the world is in less-than-optimal circumstances. That said…if we aren’t funded by Wednesday, I will be setting up a “Last Chance” campaign for when we reconvene in October. We’ll be funding with reduced goals on Kickstarter, Indiegogo and FundMyComic. In short, we have a Plan B (and a Plan C if needed), on standby.
WHAT DO FIRST-RUN BACKERS GET — Sounds crazy to hand out rewards if a campaign doesn’t make its mark, but who said we were sane!
